    There are amazing plugins that haven’t been updated in years. WordPress has a solid retrocompatibility system.

    I would not worry, unless you are unsure of the code you are inserting into the plugin.

    Do you like to test my latest quick adsense fork, named Quick Adsense Reloaded? It contains some bug fixes and several improvements including 100% compatibility for latest wordpress version and is backward compatible to latest Quick Adsense.
