When I updated WP to 7.0.0 today, the high-performance keys were reverted back to default WP keys, when clicking on the Database update button during update.
WP displayed a long list for each table with additional keys as Duplicate Errors.

The “Index WP MySQL For Speed” plugin Version 1.5.7 was active during the WP update.

I had to recreate the high-performance keys again.

Your comment in your FAQ is not valid any more:

If the plugin is activated during a WordPress version update, it prevents the update workflow from removing your high-performance keys (Version 1.4.7).

  • Yeah, I saw the same thing but didn’t do anything yet. Any updates on this issue?

Thanks for the defect report. You’re right, some sites get their keys changed. Including some sites I look after.

Actually, the core version upgrade doesn’t completely revert the keys, it just re-adds one key that this plugin removes. So using the plugin to “convert” the keys is quick.

    I’ll check it out.

Thank you… We should hold off for a bit then…?
