have you searched the forum for a solution, this is one of the most commonly explained problems out there…

I have seen similar forums, but don’t really understand the answers. I haven’t found exactly what I am experiencing, which is nothing. My screen has nothing, just blank.

    ok, basic info:

you’re using wp 3.8.5 (not sure why as wordpress is now on version 4.0.1…), can you list the plugins you have on your site, both the active and deactivated ones, and also what theme you’re using?

you can find all this out by going into your hosting cpanel and using the file manager.

Thank you. I updated to 3.8.5 and then to 4.0.1, but it didn’t update to 4.0.1. I do not know what a hosting cpanel is. If it is on my page, the problem is I cannot see a screen. If it is somewhere else, I can look there. I sign in and my computer screen is blank. I do not how to access anything?

when you set up your wordpress site you would have needed hosting for it. this is where your cpanel is. you likely received a welcome email from your hosting company that would have had the login details for your cpanel in it.

    that’s what you need.

once you’ve accessed this you can go to public_html -> wp-content -> plugins and from there you can get a list of all the plugins on your site.

also in the wp-content folder is the themes folder, so you can check which ones you have in there too.

Your source code shows you running wp 4.0.1
