• We have released several updates to our plugins recently, however the WordPress plugin directory is not changing the last updated date. :/

The upates are in trunk, the readme is set to ‘trunk’ as the last stable update (we’ve also tried a tag & have a stable copy in a tagged branch as well).

This WAS working before, but has stopped working properly on our svn repo sometime in January.

Any way to get this back online? We don’t want people thinking our plugins are getting stale.

Magically the update dates are now working again. Thanks behind-the-scenes WordPress people. Whatever you did fixed it! 🙂

same thing happens to my plugin.
it’s been a day and the date has not been updated.

I have the same problem as well. My last updated date hasn’t changed in almost a month. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.

One thing we did notice was that any updates that are < 30 days almost NEVER update the time stamp.

However there is another glitch somewhere as sometimes plugins > 30 days between updates won’t change the date either.

@cybersprocket – I’ve noticed that as well. It seems that my timestamp updates about once a month. Perhaps it’s an undocumented “feature” to keep people from gaming the Most Recent list.

@sparkweb – yeah, you’re probably right. I have no issue with that, but better communication about those sort of things would be nice to know. Otherwise we spin our wheels a few times until we figure out that the problem isn’t just our latest release.
