Forgive me but a feel like I’m missing something. I don’t understand what you mean?
@daphnetalbot “+1” is often used to imply that the poster is in agreement with you and wants to show support for the issue.
ie. @peeld is agreeing and showing support for you and this issue.
I’m also in the same boat. I think this is a great little plugin, it would be sad if it was abandoned. So that’s a +1 from me also!
If this plugin has been abandoned, can any developer with the abilities (I haven’t unfortunately) not make a project fork to continue development of what is probably a simply coded plugin?

The plugin is not abandoned; the ‘Appears abandoned’ message likely appears when there hasn’t been a update for some time. I’m pretty satisfied with the functionality the plugin offers, so I’m not in a rush to add additional features (had some plans in the past, but seemed better not to add a feature used by probably < 10% of the users for everyone).
I’ll probably do a small update sometime to renew the ‘Last updated’ timestamp (although I’m not a fan of doing it just for that)

Awesome! I know if the publish date is updated, that the warning disappears in Wordfence. I really appreciate what you’ve done and shared with everyone on this plugin.

Hi, i have the same issue: my security system alert this plug-in may be outdate and abandoned and suggest to uninstall it. I hope in an update just to keep the plugin updated and safe. Thanks. Love this.

This is one of my favorite little plugins. 🙂
I actually use it between another author and I to record brainstorms of possible topics on a joint blog.
It’s right there front and center on the dashboard.
Very nice.
I hope this plugin sticks around for a long while.
I too agree it’s working totally as it needs to. Looking forward to being able to resolve that it’s abandoned when it’s not
