I’m using WP 5.7.1. After editing text and updating this page I test it on the current versions of FireFox, Edge and Chrome, first clearing the cache on the browser before testing. All are current versions. Sometimes the updates appear and sometimes not. I’ve searched the forum for answers but they all point to a cache problem. Are there other options?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • This is most likely a cache issue.

But there’s more to caching than your computer’s browser cache. Even if you’re not running any WordPress caching plugin, your host could still be doing their own server-level caching to speed your website. Other places where caching could be happening are an external CDN (eg Cloudflare), your ISP, etc.

For your case, it seems you’re with SiteGround, which has different caching options. If any of these caching options are enabled, that could account for the experience you’re having.

I checked with the host and they showed me how to clear the site cache on their servers. The Edge browser now shows the updates. Thanks for your quick response and ideas on how to find the answer to this problem.
