Updating Existing Posts

    Hi, Is it possible to update the existing posts?

    For example if the Content of some posts needs to be changed, I want to be able to upload new content to existing posts?
    If yes, what can be used as a reference? Does it have to be title or can I use a taxonomy as a reference?

    Hello

    CSV 2 POST free edition does not allow updating. Some of the code for it does exist should you or anyone have PHP skills to adapt the free plugin.

    As with most plugins of this nature the ability to update is premium.

    CSV 2 POST has been designed to offer far more control over why, when, how and what updating actually does i.e. we can tell CSV 2 POST paid edition to update specific custom fields but not others. We can update content and store the old content. This advanced approach does leave some useful functions in the free edition. One of which is the whole Data Engine approach where we import data to a database table prior to creating posts. Once in the database table we have far more control over it.

    We were the first to take that approach and that is in the free plugin.
