Updating Failed

I just installed the latest version of WordPress, version 5.0.1 (I got the verification method below). Since I installed it, when I try saving or posting a blog entry, I keep getting the message, “Updating failed.” I tried rebooting my computer and get the same problem. I can’t save or edit blog posts.
I’m using WordPress through Yahoo/Aabaco Small Business which I’ve done now for over five years. I never had this problem until the new install. Everything is current as I just got the message below about 30 seconds ago:
You have the latest version of WordPress. Future security updates will be applied automatically.

Your plugins are all up to date.

To help us debug, can you install and use the Health Check plugin> In the Debug information tab, there’s a copy and paste field that can provide information to help us identify what might be preventing your posts from saving.
