Updating Imported Users Data

    Please help. I downloaded and installed the csv plugin and was able to import users just fine after some tweeking of the CSV File. I’m now trying to import additional data for users that have already been imported. I didnt add any new metatags just new data inside original metatags from the 1st import. I’m using the same CSV file I did from the first import but the new data will not be imported. When I try it says I need two field Username and email. The CSV file is the same one I used the first time and it worked so i’m not sure why the import wont take.

    However The users can be reimported fine if and only if I remove the meta tags and data from all previously imported users.

    HERE is an image of the spreadsheet im using. It is the same one I used initially that worked the only difference is me adding data into rows AV – BJ for some of the users.

    I seriously have been working on this for three weeks. PLEASE HELP.

    Check spell, Username and Email instead of the one you are using.

    That did nothing. Same error as before. All data in 2 -100 will not import after Column AZ.

    If I put no data in the rows 2-100 the file will work. The meta tag headers are accepted and import fine. The only way to make import work is to delete the data in the fields. The thing is all fields and all data imported for over 200 users. Then my system crashed and now it doesnt work.

    Import is not working because you are using serialized data.

    Serialized data is not compatible with this plugin now.

    If you want to get it working you have a quote to support for all the community this new feature.

    I thought it was an issue with Serialized data but the serialized data was accepted for 250 users and I can see it and search for it on my site. It accepted the data before and if I export my users I can see the meta tags for all on my spreadsheet and data inside each field.

    So why did it work initially but not now?

    Serialized data is accepted but not as an array, it should be inserted as an array.

    Maybe you have a problem in your system, this plugin is working for imports an re-imports in more than 10.000 sites and it has no problems.

    Ok Javier.

    The plug in worked and accepted all meta tags for 250 users. Now only the 1st two instanes of the serialized data is accepted. I’m just confused how everything worked and I have proof it imported successfully but now won’t.

    Plugin has not changed, so something is wrong in your system.

    Try to remove all users and reimport them.
