Updating Parent & Child Theme

    The theme I’m using was just updated. I’m using a child theme. How do I update both and not loose all of my customizations? I updated the parent theme OK, but I’m not sure how to go about the child theme?

    If the Child Theme is set up correctly it will automatically inherit the changes of the parent theme, so you won’t have to update the Child Theme.

    I thought it should update automatically. I must not have set up the child theme correctly then. I will try again.
