Updating plugin failed

    Very strange. Today I had a 404 on the download link on this page. But now it seems to work. I’ve submitted a support question at WordPress.

    They didn’t couldn’t reproduce the issue, so it’s hard figure out.

    The plugin stats don’ show any drops in downloads, so most people seem to be able to download.

    I’ll let you know if we find anything.

    In the meantime: you could try downloading from this page, as the issue does not seem to be permanent.

    Strange indeed. Have never had the issue b4 with any other official repository plugins.

    Even more strange, it started working all of a sudden about an hour after submitting this… Must be an official WP gremlin;)

    Going to mark as resolved since plugin is now updating.

    Well, seems not fixed.

    Setting up a new site and get:

    Installing Plugin: Really Simple SSL 2.2.12
    Downloading install package from https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/really-simple-ssl.2.2.12.zip…

    Download failed. Not Found

    Return to Plugin Installer

    Really shame and makes me wonder what is going on at WP headquarters. Are they based in Colorado and maybe somk’in the good stuff:)

    Seriously, this should not be happening.
