When updating plugins including site kit, I got the email that “When updating plugins including site kit, I got the email that “Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Issue” pointing to Google Site Kit and I was wondering if the “error details” should be looked at – but my site seems to be working right now.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for reaching out @aloe1. And it’s always good to be cautious even if your site looks ok, in particular given you received an email regarding a fatal error. Such errors are not uncommon, not only with Site Kit, as there can be temporary host downtime, something amiss with an automatic plugin update, or even a network issue during update.

If you’d like to share your Site Health information, along with details of the error, I’d be happy to see if I can determine anything unusual, while confirming you are using the latest version of Site Kit. I do suspect there is nothing to be worried about and that it was a temporary issue, but do share and we can hopefully confirm this. Thank you!

Thanks for sharing @aloe1. From reviewing the details you kindly shared, I don’t see any issue and I suspect that sometime went wrong during an automatic update only. Given that everything looks fine at present, we can keep this support topic open for a few days if you wish, and I can check back in with you then?

I also noticed your site is using the latest version of Site Kit, just released in the past 24 hours, 1.168.0. There have been no other reports of such errors, so I do believe is was just an update gone wrong, since addressed by a further automatic update. Feel free to test our various aspects of the Site Kit dashboard, and do let me know if you encounter any issues. Otherwise, I’ll check back in with you in a few days to ensure all works as expected. Thank you!
