Updating post, message says timeout

    I’m having an odd message when I update a post or a page. At the top, where it says “Post updated. View Post”, at the end it says timeout. There’s no other info and it doesn’t seem to pose any challenges, however there are another couple of issues I’m having that I might solve by working this one out!

    Anyone know why the timeout message might appear? What triggers it or any other info?

    We are getting the same thing, anybody know why it says Timeout at the end of the information line after updating a post? Looks like this “Post updated. View post Timeout” in the posting results detail.

    Disable all plugins and switch to a default theme such as Twenty Eleven or Twenty Ten (if you have it).

    Then update a post and see if you still have the timeout issue. If you are still having the error after doing the above it may be a result of a server setting that needs to be changed.
