Updating the plugin

    What is the best way to update the plugin without breaking things? I am currently on version 1.1.7.1 and need to update to the latest version. When I log in to my WordPress dashboard, it does not show that an update is available. Yeah, I’m a WordPress newbie. 🙂

    Hi @tbade,

    There was a bug in the version numbering. Please update to 1.2.1 which I’ve just released. Nothing will break.

    Actually, I just saw this notice about WP delaying the release to sites in 24 hours.

    Version 1.2.1 will be released to sites in about 24 hours. ww.wp.xz.cn currently delays plugin updates by 24 hours so moderators and security scanners can review changes before they reach users. If this update fixes a security issue that needs to ship sooner, contact…

    Thank you for the quick response, Vinny (@usestrict ) !

    I had to go to the Add Plugin page and upload the zip file that I downloaded from ww.wp.xz.cn. Then it asked me if I wanted to replace the current version, and I said yes. I’m fully up to date now. Just putting this here in case any other neophytes are having the same issue.
