Yes you can, read the documentation.
Basically: use username as reference, and set the correct columns (meta data keys) with their values.
Perfect thanks. Apologies, I fired the question before going back to read the documentation. Thought for some reason it wasn’t mentioned.
Don’t worry but yes, please before read the doc.
Anyway, if you want to support this project, please donate or make a good review. It would be great.
Hi Javier,
I finally got around to running the update as mentioned, also check the documentation so included a blank Password column to ensure a new password was not generated etc. One issue however is that a number of the existing users have been getting email notification of changes (password, email) even though non should have been made. The update was only to a custom field.
Can you advise. I believe I had the settings correct and made sure notifications were unchecked etc.
Thanks.
@smuglet,
Are you unchecking all checkboxes? Maybe some other plugin is generating the plugin (or even the WordPress core).
Yeah unchecked them all. I don’t believe I have anything else related to notifications active plugin wise but will double check core settings.
Thanks.
Check it and tell us.
It should work and yes I have seen some sites with a problem related about WordPress core notifications.
