Updating WordPress

    Hi everyone!

    While trying to update from WordPress 6.1.7. to current WordPress 6.9 the following message appears:

    “Downloading update from https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/release/wordpress-6.9-new-bundled.zip…

    The authenticity of wordpress-6.9-new-bundled.zip could not be verified as no signature was found.

    Unpacking the update…

    Could not create directory.: /var/www/vhosts/marine.photography/httpdocs/wp-content/upgrade/wordpress-6.9-new-bundled

    Installation failed.”

    I don’t understand what I need to do.

    Please help, I would appreciate it!

    The error that stopped the update is “Could not create directory”. Please check with your host that you have the correct permissions on the directory in question.
