Updraft creating multiple unscheduled backups

    I have a site that’s set to create a db backup daily and a full file backup weekly. The past few days, Updraft has been creating 7-9 db backups in addition to the scheduled backups.

    My backups are set to automatically sync with Google Drive. The scheduled backups all seem to be working as expected. All the additional unexpected db backups seem to have completed without error. They say they have synced with Google Drive, but they haven’t. There are no logs on any of these unexpected backups. The regularly scheduled backups are all completing and syncing to Drive as expected.

    I just can’t figure out why it’s making backup after backup all day long for no reason. I’m running the latest version of Updraft, WP and any installed plugins. Any insight is much appreciated.

    Can you post your backup log using a tool such as pastbin.com

    Can you also take a screenshot of the files?

    At some point, it looks like you have pressed the “Rescan remote storage” link in the backup/restore tab. When you do this it shows all backups from all sites (you do get a warning which you have to click to acknowledge). The backups with the “View log” button next to them are likely the only ones from the particular site that you are in.

    This makes sense. I do have more than one site backed up to this Drive folder. Just wanted to confirm nothing was broken. Much thanks.
