Updraft Dissapeared!

    So I’ve been running Updraft for quite a while now without issue. Today I went to my plugins section and noticed Updraft was missing. I never uninstalled it so I thought it was strange. When I went to install it again, I got an error telling me FOLDER ALREADY EXISTS.

    Where do I go from here to get Updraft bak up and running?

    Hi,

    Can you please login with FTP to your server and check if you see updraftplus folder inside ‘wp-content/plugins’?

    Yes. I deleted it, reinstalled and am good to go now. Why would this plugin just disappear on me like that?

    Hi,

    That’s a difficult question to answer. Plugins don’t install or updates themselves – those functions are carried out by WordPress core. The most likely possibility is that WordPress crashed whilst updating it, leaving behind something incomplete.
