Updraft not detecting backups in FTP folder

I have a successful FTP connection to the backup folder that I have in place. Updraft does not detect any backups in the folder though. When I FTP into the folder the backups are there. The backstory is I completely lost my site due to hosting expiration and I had to create and install WordPress anew. I am currently trying to restore using the same plugin that I used to back it up in the first place.
