updraft plus restore failure

    I have just completed my website and decided to back it up. After updating the theme to the latest version (Tesseract) I was unable to access a page to edit it. I tried a restore with UpdraftPlus. Now I have lost pages. Previously I had over 20 and now can only see 12. Also, they are old – well before I updated !

    Can anyone please assist?

    Hi,

    Could you please post a copy of the restoration log? This log can be found in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of the site.

    The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as pastebin and post the link here.

    Dear DNutbourne,

    I have located the log file and downloaded it to my PC. However, I am now on the Bitbucket site and it’s all gobbledy-gook. It appears that I must learn yet another language. Is there another way of getting the file to you?

    Hi Derek,

    Apologies, the log you posted is a backup log. There should be another log available for the restoration process.

    If you open the log file, The first line will begin:

    0000.000 () Opened log file at time

    If the brackets do not have a number between them, then this is a restoration log.
