UpdraftPlus 1.23.3 never did work

    UpdraftPlus has never provided me with a backup in over a year of having it on my ww.wp.xz.cn site. All I get are emails from Gmail telling me the file contains a virus. The files on the website are not complete.

    So, I’ve deleted the plugin. And yet I’m still getting this message from Gmail (today) ‘”WordPress Backup: mywebsite.com (UpdraftPlus 1.23.3) 2023-03-18 05:54″ from UpdraftPlus on mywebsite.com (my email address) contained a virus or a suspicious attachment. It was therefore not fetched from your account (my email address) and has been left on the server.”

    Hi,

    UpdaftPlus backups are archived in smaller zip files and Google/Gmail thinks zip files can contain potential viruses and harmful software. However, if you know the source then you can safely download the files and ignore the warning message.
