Hi,
Could you please send us the last 3 backup logs so we can investigate what’s triggering the frequent backups?
You can upload the logs using an online tool such as Pastebin or Pasteboard and share the link here.
Best Regards,
Bryle

In your hosting Site Tools->Site->MySQL->phpMyAdmin, open your database
Search the database for any table named ‘wp_options’, where X is a number.
In each table, select ‘Search’ and enter the following:
Column name: ‘option_name’
Operator: ‘LIKE %…%’
Value: ‘updraft’
This will bring up all UpdraftPlus options in the table. Delete any rows relating to your remote storage (this looks to be Google Drive.).
In the same table, Search for a row with option_name = ‘cron’. Delete this row
Can you then setup your remote storage again.
I am also concerned that there may be an issue with your site scheduler. Can you install the free plugin WP Crontrol and check to see if any of your Cron Events are showing as overdue?

Hi,
Thanks for sharing the logs.
Regarding the frequent backups, this is usually caused by duplicate or overlapping schedules. From the log , the backup itself is running normally, so we need to check what is triggering it repeatedly.
Please check your UpdraftPlus → Settings → Backup Schedule and re-save it to reset the schedule, and also confirm there are no external cron jobs, other backup plugins, or server-level tools triggering backups too frequently.
Regards,
Bryle
