Hi,

I use the plugin UpdraftPlus to create Backups.
Every time I create a Staging site this new site is creating a backup.

Is it possible to automatically disable backup plugins for staging sites ?

Hi,

yes, you can exclude the backup plugin UpdraftPlus from cloning by unselecting its plugin folder before cloning

Actually I’m using this function,

but I thought of a way to automatically exclude the plugin folder.

Isn’t there a setting,blacklist,… for this ?

No, it’s not implemented but it could be useful. I’ll add that idea to our to-do list.
