    Hi,

    Log shows “0000.034 (0) PHP event: code E_WARNING: popen() has been disabled for security reasons (line 1524, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/class-updraftplus.php)
    0000.035 (0) Error: popen failed”

    Please can you ask your host/server admin to enabled popen PHP function? If this is disabled it will affect the backup creation.
