    Hi,
    Your plugin is great. Thanks a lot.
    On 2 different installations (same host) my wordpress sites went down this week (one on Saturday and one today Tuesday). For both sites I upgraded fairly recently to UpdraftPlus Version 1.9.64. For both sites I use the Google Drive backup feature (awesome!).
    In both cases the site went down several minutes after the automated weekly backup. And in both cases the wp-config.php file was modified at that moment. A line of code was deleted:
    require_once(ABSPATH . 'wp-settings.php');
    I am the only administrator on this site and the only person who has FTP access. FTP logs confirmed that no one had connected. So my question is ‘can anyone see this as possible?’ I will wait a couple of days to update to the new version to see if this phenomena is reproduced this week. Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

    UD doesn’t have any code to do that. Backup operations only need to read files – they don’t write to them. So, you’ll need to look elsewhere for possible causes.

    Best wishes,
    David

    Hi,
    A new backup was made yesterday and the problem did not reproduce itself so your answer is correct. I must look elsewhere. Thanks for answering and again, I just want to tell you, your plugin is awesome. Thanks.

    You’re welcome!

    If you find UpdraftPlus useful, then please give us a positive review, here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/view/plugin-reviews/updraftplus?rate=5#postform

    (If we’re not yet worth 5 stars, then please don’t review, but instead reply here to let us know why not – reviews less than 5 stars bring our average down!).

    Best wishes,
    David
