Backups are terminating too fast. Looking into the log file it states “Free space on disk containing Updraft’s temporary directory: 694015.4 MB” …

So where is this TEMPORARY Directory? The /wp-content/updraft/ directory where the backups get stored has on 600MB in it.

And how do I clear out the TEMPORARY Directory?

    Hi,

This /wp-content/updraft/ is the backup directory of UpdraftPlus. The backups will be pruned and deleted depending on your backup retention setting. You can customize this in the UpdraftPlus “Settings” tab, depending on how many backups you want to keep.

    Thanks,

    Hey Bryle,

Thanks for the reply. I see the /wp-content/updraft/ under the httpdocs area … However, this directory only has 600MB of backup in it. Doesnt seem to me to be a TEMPORARY backup location since my backup files are there PERMANENTLY unless I delete them. The message I receive states “Updraft’s temporary directory: 694015.4 MB” so where is this TEMPORARY directory and how do I clear it?

The temporary folders are stored in the wp-content/updraft directory of your site along with your backup files (if you have not selected the option to “Delete local backups”
