Hi!
Pls advise, whether it is possible to update from WPBakery Visual Composer version 5.2 to latest Visual Composer? Or I have to buy WPBakery Page Builder?

Hi,

The Visual Composer Website Builder: http://visualcomposer.com/ and WPBakery Page Builder: https://wpbakery.com/ are two independent products. Having said that, one can’t be replaced by another. You can find more info here: https://visualcomposer.com/docs/faq/visual-composer-website-builder-vs-wpbakery-page-builder/
To update, WPBakery Page Builder, you can purchase it’s license from: https://wpbakery.com/wpbakery-page-builder-license/

It is sad that you didn’t read my question carefully. Yes, I know the difference between these 2 products.
Because at present there no product with such name “WPBakery Visual Composer”, I try to understand whether it is ancestor of “Visual Composer Website Builder” OR “WPBakery Page Builder”?

Hi,

The plugin WPBakery Visual Composer is an older version of WPBakery Page Builder. The WPBakery Visual Composer was re-branded as WPBakery Page Builder since 5.3 release.
