Hi @christiaria
Thanks for reaching out. Let me help you with this one.
Would it be possible for you to set up a staging version of your live site and try to do the migration (upgrade) from there first before applying to your live site? This is to avoid unnecessary downtime in your live site.
Here are the steps to do the migration:
- Update to the latest versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro (if any).
- Remove any un-needed draft events and empty the Trash.
- Activate only our plugins and use the Twenty Twenty-One theme.
- Make sure server-side caching is disabled temporarily while you’re migrating your events.
- Install and activate the Code Snippets plugin.
- Add this snippet and run it once (be sure it does not stay activated).
- Go to Events > Settings > Upgrades and go through the migration process.
Let me know how it goes.
If the above steps doesn’t help, please provide the versions of the following so I can troubleshoot it further on my end:
- WordPress
- PHP
- The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO (if any)
- Event Tickets and Event Tickets PLUS (if any)
