• I use Cloudflare. I upgraded to the latest version and as long as Cloudflare was in “development mode” (bypassing the cache) – I was able to view the home page and internal pages, no problem. However, when Cloudflare is restored to active caching, it reports a timeout or server error message. Of course I fully purged the Cloudflare cache before testing (several times actually) and I tried disabling Cloudflare functions that minify CSS & Javascript, and the Cloudflare Rocket Loader. No go. 3.66 and Cloudflare are not friends.

I think this may have been the root of the problem I experienced with 3.6.5 as well.

I see this error message in server logs:

Cannot allocate memory: couldn't create child process: /opt/suphp/sbin/suphp

I have reverted to 3.6.4 and all is well.

So I don’t know what the problem is — but you might want to test with a server on Cloudflare to see if you can debug. (My site is on the Cloudflare free plan, so no premium features being used).
