Hey Marco,
Sorry about that. I almost never make style updates for this reason, but I’d gotten quite a few requests about limiting the width and decided to change it.
Since I know the exact issue I won’t need to see your site. The CSS below will return your site to how it looked in v1.21 without the width being limited:
.main,
.entry,
.comments
.site-header .container,
.top-navigation .container {
max-width: none !important;
}
Hi Ben,
I have also an Problem with the version 1.22. Since I made the update today, my posts just display on the startpage – If you try to hit “Read more” and enter the post there’s nothing, the post doesn’t display.
I use custom post types for a podcast.
I hope you can help me, cause I love your theme so much, I don’t want to be forced to change!
Benjamin
Hi,
Same problem here too.
“my posts just display on the startpage – If you try to hit “Read more” and enter the post there’s nothing, the post doesn’t display.”
I use custom post types for my portfolio
thank you
Hey guys,
Sorry for the trouble. You can revert to version 1.18 to undo this issue right away.
I see the problem you’re talking about with the post type not displaying, and I was able to fix this issue. I’ll be releasing the next version of Tracks ASAP.
You said that the posts are also displaying on your blog/homepage. Have they always displayed there, or did they just start displaying there?
Hi Ben,
With version 1.18, my portfolio page (not home or blog page, wordpress custom content type pages (settings>reading>portfolio projects)) displays my works. When I click “read more”, it displays the correct page which includes my work details and whole writings on post. But after update all It displays portfolio page and its items but non of the items display when I click “read more”. Just my name (like logo at top) and navigation menu. Thats all. Even the black bar at the top which shows my stats, “edit post” links and so on, also dissappear.
This is my problem. Thank you for help.
The posts are displayed where they were before. No problem about that.
@tolgasv thanks so much for the extra detail.
I will be submitting the fix soon, and then after it’s reviewed by ww.wp.xz.cn it will be available for download in your dashboard.
When you update to the next version, if your posts still don’t show, visit your Permalinks menu and click the Save button. This will fix the issue.
Thank you Ben, when I update I will follow your instructions. 🙂
