Upgrade to WP3 – taxonomy.php problem

    Hi

    I have just tried to do an automatic upgrade to WP 3 and have now got :

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘*’ in ……/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 2687

    I have tried creating an empty plugins folder and renaming existing plugins to plugins.hold but that has not made any difference.

    I would be grateful for suggestions on what to try next …

    I’d suggest manually uploading either the entire zip file or the taxonomy.php file as it would seem as though that file is corrupt (the current version does not have 2687 lines.)

    Thanks – I replaced the taxonomy.php file and that got me back in.
