Hi,

I have a PHP based business website. I am now upgrading it to WordPress. The pages have a good ranking, so to retain the ranking I am trying to create the same URLs in WordPress. When I edit a page permalink to /staff.php it is updating as /staff-php

Is a dot not allowed in a permalink. Sorry if this is a basic question.

Now, with the plugin URLs ending with .php easy to create. Is it possible to create something like http://www.mydomain.com/questions.php?page=2

Is your pagination broken? I never used the plugin so I don’t really know.

The plugin appends .php at the end of all the permalinks.

I have pagination in my old site page, here in WP I’m manually creating different pages and linking them via previous and next. Is there a smarter way to create paginated data?

Use wp_link_pages() to paginate a post or page. Use the quicktag  to break a long Page in multiple pages. I don’t know if this works with the plugin but test it out.
