My upgrade went somewhat ok, but now the comments won’t work anymore.. I get the following error:

Any idea what I should do?

OK, here’s what I did, the whole story:
I uploaded the lates wp gold, plus import-textpattern and the b2-include folder. Then I couldn’t log in anymore, the following error occured:
Since you’re a newcomer, you’ll have to wait for an admin to raise your level to 1, in order to be authorized to post.
You can also e-mail the admin to ask for a promotion.
When you’re promoted, just reload this page and you’ll be able to blog. 🙂
The database told me, that I still have level 10, so something is probably going wrong.
Then I re-installed the gold version of wp and things worked great, just noone could comment any more. Now I am uncertain what to do about it, if anybody has any ideas, they’re greatly appreciated.

Uploaded the full CVS, now it works, but I lost my layout,, time to whip up a new one, but things work great now!
It was probably premature of me to suggest just getting those files when in retrospect a lot has changed. Sorry about that! Very glad to hear it worked out. This will be included in the next release and updated if/when Textpattern is. If the demand is higher, it could be tweaked a bit, but since it works now, groovy.

I’ve run the import script (I’m using Textpattern · g1.19) and it’s not really working. I’m getting a bunch of database errors while I’m sure the database info is correct. Anyone else having trouble importing their Textpattern blog into Wordpres 1.2 ?

I’m pretty suprised how friendly and helpfull you admin, developers and the hole wp community is.
Thats not the common way, what you see in the internet. Most time its: Take what you get and then the hell out of here (here = other places)
