Upload date / View by date

HI, Is it possible to add a date uploaded string to one of the table columns, then order the list of files by this?
e.g. the most recently added files would appear at the top of the table.Great plug in. Simple and elegant. The best compliment one can make of a thing like this. Works perfect in 3.5.1 alo works under s2 membership limitations.
