    Hi,

I have an issue with uploading files in my form. When I’m uploading normal picture in .jpg/.jpeg the form has no problem with that. But when is the format in .JPG/.JPEG it says this: Error saving form. Upload error.
I added .JPG/.JPEG in the administration, to additional formats, but the form still won’t be sent.

Don’t you know where the problem might be?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @bernousek16

I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

I admit I’m slightly surprised by the issue as this shouldn’t really make much of the difference.

I’ve asked our Forminator developers for advice and I (or one of my colleagues) will update you here again soon with more information.

    Best regards,
    Adam

    Hi @bernousek16

I just got more information on the issue so let me share it with you.

    1. It turns out to be a bug that our Forminator Team is already aware of and our developers are working on a fix. I don’t have an ETA but it’s being looked into already.

    2. The issue happens if the upload field is set to “Multiple” types rather than “single” and to “Specific filetypes” at the same time (even if all of them are selected).

    3. A workaround appears to be to

    – add JPG and JPEG to the “Additional filetypes” field in “Allowed filetypes” setting (which, I believe, you already did)

    – and set “Upload method” to “On form submission” instead of “Ajax” (it’s also in “Settings” tab of Upload field settings – just make sure that you got plugin up to date, the current 1.14.6 release).

    Best regards,
    Adam

Yes, it helps, so the problem was in AJAX.

    Thank you!
