Upload Error JSON EOF

    I am having trouble uploading new images to a new gallery. I get the following error on every image I try to upload, even when I try uploading previous images that loaded successfully in my first gallery.

    Failed to upload filename.jpg

    JSON Parse error: Unexpected EOF

    I was on V3.27, and just upgraded to V3.28 and I still have the problem.

    The files I’m trying to load are all about 1M in size.

    I’m on WordPress 5.9.4 and that hasn’t changed for awhile.
    I also have the NextGen Pro 3.13 installed, and it was installed before I added the first gallery.

    Currently on PHP 7.4 and I don’t see anything in the PHP error log related to Nextgen.

    Found an unrelated error in the PHP log, fixed that, and the upload now works. So I guess it wasn’t unrelated after all. The error msg that NextGen threw about JSON and EOF didn’t have any relation to the actual problem.
