Upload folder location

I am wondering if there’s any way I can change where the files are uploaded, or perhaps just have them destroyed once the email sends (and have the attachment actually be part of the email, instead of just a download link)?

My setup grabs all media from the existing uploads folder and uses it in it’s own way. So having the extra files in there can be disruptive.
