Upload plugin/widget with directory option

hello ladies and gentlemen,
ive searched and tested many upload plugins for wordpress the last days, and i never found one, where the front-end user can upload a pdf-document AND choose the sub-directory it is uploaded into. but because that is exactly what i need, id like to ask you all if you have a solution for me.
the user should be able to place the document he wants to upload whereever he likes.
