‘Uploaded file is not readable’

    Hi,
    we uploaded Loco translate plugin. Once we try to save the translation we get the following error: ‘Uploaded file is not readable’. We use Eduma theme. The Eduma support said it’s not a theme problem.
    Note: we followed the documentation plugin settings
    Please, advise.

    I can’t explain why you get this error. Loco Translate reads PHP’s $_FILES['po']['tmp_name'] value and if the file is not readable by PHP then this error will be thrown.

    My only suggestion is to check your PHP configuration is properly setup for uploading files that can be read back. Help with doing that is beyond the level of support offered here.

    Alternatively, don’t upload your PO file through the plugin’s upload tool. Upload it manually and then re-save the file in the Loco Translate editor in order to compile the MO file.
