I own an online print shop where users can upload the files which they want to print. But sometimes I get problems with CPO UNI. The order shows an ID file which doesn´t exist in the library. there´s no any linked file in the order.

Here I leave a real example. The order says:

    _cpo_product_id:3252
    _add-to-cart:3252
    _cpo_product_image:3231
    _cpo_cart_item_id:1611609903
    Upload your file:5518
    Total pages:10
    Paper size:A4
    Color:Color

There isn,t any file called 5518 in my WordPress Library. There´s no way to know which file I need to print.

By the way, the field “upload your file” is required in muy website. I mean, the users are not allowed to add the product to the cart before uploading the file.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

5518 is an ID of file attachment.

Hi. No it´s not. In fact, this is the kind of name which CPO UNI uses when there is no file uploaded in the order. But as I said before, This option is not enable in my site.

I don´t know what it is, but definetly it´s not a file ID.

How it is possible then to make order without uploading the file if file upload is required?

So that is exactly the reason of texting you here instead trying to fix it on my own. Because it doesn´t make sense at all. I read about the same issue 6 months ago in a topic from other member . Your team gave him the same answer you´ve just given me now. He never texted you back, but I´m sure that this wasn´t a solution.

I´ve been watching this problem for a long time and I think this only happens when my customers add more than one file in their carts. This all that I can tell you.

Please, write to [email protected] with a step by step instructions how to reproduce the issue on my localhost.

    Thanks!

    Ok, I´ll do it. Thanks.

Anyway, is there any chance to find the file using the “cpo_cart_item_id”? (Check this out in my first message.)

    It is not a file.

Replying your last message; I can not tell you how to reproduce this issue because I have no idea how my customers do it. Maybe this happens when the carts are created several days before the purchase is done. Once I could reproduce this issue and I think it was because of this.

    Hi again

I ´ve just find out the mistake.

When customers want to upload more than one file; they upload the firt one, then they add it to the cart and, when the product is in the cart, they have to delete the uploaded file if they want to upload a new one, because the page is not refreshed automatically and they are not allowed to select other file before removing the first one.

By doing this, we have carts with no uploaded files, even though the rule doesn’t allow it.

Any chance to refresh this page automatically after the user press the “add to cart” button?

Thanks for the bug report! Will try to fix it in the next release.

If you enable ‘ajax add to cart’ functionality in Uni CPO settings, then adding to the cart removes file from file upload. So, file upload option is empty, customer cannot delete the file. It may be a workaround for this issue.

Great! It seems to work! Thanks.

Actually, We´ve just fixed the last issue but now the users are allowed to add the product to the cart before uploading the file. But it´s ok for now. I hope they wont do that.
