It might be a permissions error, have you made chmodded wp-images 777?
I have the same problem. And after seeing this response, I changed the permissions on the wp-images, but that didn’t help. I looked in the file, and no image files that it said i had successfully uploaded.
This seems to be the problem with mine. (I’m using wp 1.0.1)It’s putting it in my images directory, but there is a double back slash. And when I check the directory, of course there is no file, yet it says its successful:
File uploaded !
Your file IMG_1163.jpg was uploaded successfully !
