    Hi,
we have recently received a message which had some uploaded files missing.
Only the first file was transmitted.
The message shows, that files were uploaded.
Where does the plugin store the files?
    Thanks!
    Best regards

    Hello @iicgroup ,

Files will temporary stored in your server insidewp-uploads/wpcf7_uploads and it will automatically deleted after the email successfully send It doesn’t involve the database.

If you want to store files check send attachment as links option.(see below)

Go to WP Admin Contact->Drag & Drop Upload settings then check “Send Attachment as links?” option.

    Regards,
    Glen

    Hi @glenwpcoder,

thank you, for your quick response.
Unfortunately the plugin only transmitted one but seven files.
Seems as if the other six files are lost.
I will contact my provider if there had been any problems.
    Thanks again.

    Best regards

    Hi @glenwpcoder,

    just one last question.
Is there a possibility to store the files (as a kind of backup) when the email was successfully sent instead of deleting them?
Maybe some easy changes in the code?

    Best regards

Yes @iicgroup , currently I’m relying on Contact Form 7 directory uploads which has auto file deletion.

But We can change it and move to another folder instead of default behavior of CF7.

Possibly I can add this on my next update.
