As I recall (and I still see), the stamped PDFs reside in the same folder that I specify in the settings for the product under the File URL box.

While examining my backup file, I noticed a large folder called woo. Can you tell me what the purpose of the folders and files in /uploads/pdf-ink/woo is? Thank you

Yes, the marked files used to be stored in your wp-content/uploads folder alongside the original PDF, now they are stored in a wp-content/uploads/pdf-ink/woo folder. If you would like more reliable marked file cleanup (after each delivery), try using “Force” download method with WooCommerce (Product -> Download settings) and uncheck the “retain copy” option in the PDF Ink Housekeeping settings. You can also turn on a scheduled cleanup in the housekeeping settings.

I don’t see a “retain copy” option under Housekeeping. I only see Leave No Trace, and Give Us Attribution. Is it safe to delete the files in the woo folder?

You can delete any of the files in the woo folder, as well as any of the generated/watermarked copies in your uploads folder alongside your product. The files have already been delivered, and are just there for your reference.

I don’t see a “retain copy” option under Housekeeping.

Sorry for the confusion – automatic file removal is part of the paid/upgrade version of PDF Ink.
