That’s rather strange. Can you please disable all other plugins and check if this works.

I also noticed that when I visit the link above I get an authorisation requirement probably .htaccess protected which you might want to try to disable as well if disabling plugins doesn’t work.

    I´ve got similar issue:

    – just instaled throught wordpress add plugin pannel
    – then i changed Setting/ Number of related posts to display

and white display error says: 403 Forbidden You do not have permission to access this document. (domain/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=crp_options)

Note: if deactivate this plugin, everything goes well. Trying again, and 403 comes.

    Thanks

My 403 solved: called to web hosting and they do.

    Thank you.

Artandscores, did they say how they fixed it?

My web host also fixed this “As for the errors with options-general.php, that was being caused by a couple rules in ModSecurity. I went ahead and added a whitelist for those and I was able to save options for the Contextual Related Posts plugin without an issue.”

They didn´t say more explanation. I opened a request, and 30 minutes after they said “403 error is solved”.

I believe it was mod-security which was the issue. I recall having a similar issue with the default rules when I had that on my server many years back which my host fixed as well.

@ajay, agreed, here was the response from my web host.
