upon scroll widget max-width exceeds sidebar width

Hello,

I have installed the Sticky Widget plugin and it works well. However, I would like to style one of the widgets which is a custom menu and upon scrolling the width of the widget goes off the page. (For instance if I want to center the text, once I scroll it is now in the center of the content rather than in sidebar because now the sidebar is > full-width.)

I will test with using a text widget instead of custom menu to see if that makes a difference.

Any suggestions?
