    Right before a major deadline, the site updates, uh oh. The editor is no longer intuitive, all of my favorite function disappears, panic arises. what am I going to do?
    I do see the “switch to draft” button, so I quickly push it because no matter what I do to update the page, all I see is a block of code. The deadline is coming up in a few hours, so I quickly make something to the best of my knowledge, it looks like poop, but it will do.

    After a bit of research, I found out the update was gutenberg, and I strongly dislike its functionality and wish they didnt push us to update our site with this platform.

    Why on earth would you as a professional not try all the updates and trial out first–then–do your major deadline project. You can also get free localhost from flywheel to do all testing/tryout before applying the practices to the live host work. This is what I have been doing since Sept and it works great. I haven’t experienced any of the Gutenberg issues I see here every day.
