Urgent! All custom posts gone

    Sometime between an hour ago and about five days ago, all the custom posts (100+) that I’ve been using for my portfolio for the last couple of years have disappeared. They are still in the database, and Types still has the CPT and taxonomy defined, but the menu item for the CPT now shows zero posts.

    What happened? How do I get these back? This represents a few dozen hours of work I’d really rather not recreate manually.

    Dear redkite

    Please check your database backup. If you have one, try to setup your site locally or on other machine, then export configuration from Types and import it to your main site.

    I restored a DB backup, that didn’t help. All my custom posts were in the DB, but for some unknown reason the custom post type (post_type) field had been changed from ‘projects’ to ‘anth_project’ on 111 posts. I have no post type ‘anth_project’.

    Any idea how that might happen? No new plugins have been added in the last few days since I saw the posts working fine.
