Urgent please help!

    So I was working on my editor, at my ‘home’ page experimenting with the SEO functions at the bottom. I entered some things, clicked on update, and noticed my ‘home’ page is completely empty now (truth is, is was like that before too, at least in the editor).

    Basically my homepage only consisted of a slide. Nothing has changed with that slide, only that it doesn’t show up on my home page no more.

    Can anyone please guide me on how I can make sure that the slide is on my homepage again? My developper is not available at the moment, and I expect quite some traffic to my site tomorrow.

    In other words: How do I ‘simply’ add a slide to my home page?

    I really really have to solve this problem..

    by ‘slide’ do you just mean an image?

    do you have a page in your Pages >> All Pages section called ‘Home’?

    does the ‘slide’ normally appear in the black section next to the word ‘Home’ or is it below that in the white section (where the content normally is)

    If yes and in the white section.. you should be able to go to the ‘Home’ page in Pages >> All Pages.. and simply ‘insert/upload’ an image and then ‘insert into post’ to have it appear 🙂

    By ‘Slide’ I mean both an image and text.

    Yes, there’s a page called ‘Home’ which is actually empty in my editor, but it was like that before too.

    Yes, the slide normally appears in the black section. The word ‘Home’ shouldn’t even be there.

    I just don’t know where I should work at? Should I work in my ‘Home’ page editor or my ‘Slide’ editor? I’ve tried out many things already but nothing worked. I also don’t want to screw things up even more..

    Thanks but, wouldn’t that plugin already have been installed if my developper had needed it? After all, I’m just trying to bring my homepage back to the state he brought it to.

    Again, the only thing I’ve done in my editor was adding some SEO stuff at the bottom of my ‘Home’ page (which has always been empty in my editor), and once I clicked ‘update’, the slide that pretty much makes up my homepage dissapeared.

    it sounds like it’s done something to a plugin that you already have installed.. if you feel comfortable with me having a look at your backend you could add me as an administrator and i would be happy to have a look for you

    Hey Vanos,

    i receive the email saying i am apparently registered.. however, it is saying the password and username are incorrect.. similarly it is not allowing me to recover a lost password..

    perhaps try deleting the user and trying again?
