URL messup after duplicate post

    Hi ,

    thanks for the great plugin.

    we discovered following behavior while duplicating posts.

    A specific post is duplicated, and the url of the original is changed to from /example to /example-2.

    This happend a couple of times also in 2 different projects. Is this a new bug with the latest wordpress version 5.2.1 ?

    As we target google adwords onto the original post, a url-change is very badly.

    Hi @paulamann,
    this hasn’t been reported so it shouldn’t be a bug related to the last WP versions.
    Whta do the projects have in common? Any redirection plugin, or language management, that could tweak the slugs of the posts?

    Also, can you make sure if the “Slug” option in the Duplicate Post settings page is unchecked? It should be so unless you have special requirements (but previous versions of the plugin wrongly set it to enabled on installation)
