    Hello!
Just installed this plugin (1.8.1) on our WordPress setup.
    Working perfectly!

I was wondering: Is there a way to “obfuscate” the source url?

Example: from the WordPress Dashboard I add a new video that is local to my domain, say:
    http://www.myDOMAIN.com/vids/funvid.mp4

Is there a way to obfuscate that, so when a visitor is checking out the video, even if the see the page’s html source, it will not be obvious to them the location of the .mp4?

Or maybe make an expiring link?

Thank you for this awesome work!
We are very happy to have bought the Commercial license… money excellently spent!

At the moment HTML5 does not support “obfuscated” urls but Amazon offers expiring links. There is an addon plugin that gives you the support for WordPress. https://github.com/nathanielks/flowplayer-amazon-s3

There are plans for improving on this in the future.

    Alright!
    I will check that out.
    This feature would absolutely rock!

    Asking some more questions:
Any thoughts on what I can do to generate a “secure” video?

The video will be provided to users that have paid a membership.
Hence the reason I would like to keep “as hidden as possible” the location of the .mp4

Any other way that comes to mind?

    Thanks!

    Ulrich,
Could you tell me how does this plugin save the URL string for the files?

I am think that I could change that directly, if it is in the database.

You add the normal S3 urls to the “Video” post and then you add fill S3 fields with the required info in the settings page. This should automatically generate the temporary urls.
